My approach to supervision

My approach to supervision

I believe supervision works best when there is a balance between clinical competence, professional development, and personal reflection.

My supervision style is warm, collaborative, and reflective. While ensuring that clinical standards and competencies are met, I also provide space to explore the interpersonal and relational aspects of therapy, helping you develop a deeper understanding of your clients, yourself as a therapist, and the therapeutic relationship.

Drawing on my training in CBT, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), I can support therapists in exploring cases from multiple perspectives whilst maintaining fidelity to evidence-based practice.

Whether we are reviewing recordings, refining formulations, discussing therapeutic process, or exploring professional challenges, my goal is to help you develop confidence, flexibility, and your own authentic therapeutic voice.
